In February 2010 I felt that there was enough interest in my research for me to publish (free of charge) a newsletter that would kept darts fans who were interested informed about my work. Dr. Darts’ Newsletter was born.

Issue 1 was circulated to a handful of fans and friends in darts but then more and more joined the happy throng and before long the list of subscribers had reached many hundreds and from not just the UK and Europe but from across the planet, from the USA, South America, Australia, New Zealand and even Fiji.

The newsletter (more popularly known these days as DDN) deals essentially with darts history (all manner of established tournaments and personalities), darts nostalgia (the days of wooden dartboards and brass darts) to collecting darts ephemera (darts, dartboards, flights and all sorts of darts-related items.

DDN also addresses some of the more recent matters such as why darts was not included in the 2012 London Olympics and answers (where it can) questions posed by subscribers from all over the planet. (As an example click here to read DDN #31 (November 2012).)

So why not join us? As I said, it’s free and is sent out to subscribers every month (except January).

All you have to do is send an e-mail to me at info@patrickchaplin.com and ask to be added to the list. It’s as simple as that!

I look forward to hearing from you.

Best wishes,

Patrick
(aka ‘Dr. Darts’)
